1967: The Beginning George Karitsios embarked on his transportation journey by purchasing his first brand-new truck, a Scania 110. With this initial investment, he began transporting goods across Greece, quickly earning a reputation for his swift and reliable services due to his unwavering dedication and hard work.

1980: Expansion into International Transport George expanded his operations by acquiring three additional trucks specifically for textile transport from Greece to Germany and flower transport from Holland to Greece. This move marked the beginning of his foray into international transportation.

1994: Foundation of OMONOIA TRANS Recognizing the growing demand for international cargo movement, George, alongside seven experienced colleagues, founded OMONOIA TRANS. This international transportation company facilitated the movement of goods between Greece and Europe. Under George’s expert leadership, the company experienced steady growth, and by 1996, it had added its first two refrigerated trucks to its fleet.

2001: The Birth of KARITSIOS TRANS I.M.E. George decided to step away from OMONOIA TRANS and, together with his two children, launched a new venture: KARITSIOS TRANS I.M.E. Leveraging his extensive experience in the industry, the company rapidly grew its client base across Europe, earning a stellar reputation for its distinguished and responsible service.

2011: Transformation to KARITSIOS TRANS S.A. In pursuit of continual improvement in customer service and industry advancements, the company evolved from KARITSIOS TRANS I.M.E. to KARITSIOS TRANS S.A. This change symbolized the company’s enduring commitment to excellence and innovation.
